Hands on- and formative training with Lean Thinking and Six Sigma

InnovationTech uses Six Sigma methodology throughout our training to increase competitiveness and profitability in your business. Six Sigma, a quality improvement process that was created by Motorola during the 1980s. The improvement process core is a distinct structure and well defined roles. Every project is pursued with a uniform workflow involving five steps: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control.

The success factor in Lean and Six Sigma is the availability of educated leaders (Black Belts or Green Belts) with knowledge in organized problem solving and statistical analyzing skills. Lean/Six Sigma is a quality improvement concept that is being used in most industries with great success.

The model is based on Six Sigma-methods.
The purpose of the training is that the participant, through theory and practical learning, get knowledge and understanding how to work with statistic tools in a structured and efficient way in the everyday production environment. When the training is completed the participants should understand their role in the quality process and be aware of the importance decision making based on properly gathered data.
During the theoretical part of the training we walk through the basic statistical terms and clarifies the general terms for improved quality in production. We show control diagrams and concepts of ability.
The practical part of the traiinng include multiple exercises in Minitab. A free demo of the software will be available to install on your laptop to use during the training.

Suitable for: Quality engineers, technicians, designers and more, in addition production controllers. Employees in production, quality, assembly and measuring etc. in the manufacturing industry.

Knowledge after the training:

  • Practical basics in Minitab
  • Gathering of data
  • Analysing control diagrams
  • Basic statistics, histogram
